We must have eaten too much last night. While I can't sleep, they are both snoring away...
Well I guess that is good because it totally gives me a chance to blog. Its been a LONG time since the last time I posted an entry. Hopefully we can start to find time to post more blogs. Soon...like within the next few days I will post details about Jacobs second birthday. He is turning 3 soon in May, and another party is under way!
I can't wait! Originally we decided on a Marvel Comic Superhero theme, but that went down the drain due to our son's addiction to Buzz, Woody and the Gang from Toy Story. Hopefully we will execute the Superhero theme for his 4th birthday...who knows right?

My baby boy turned 1 in May 2010. And for his first birthday we went with a Sesame Street Themed birthday party. The birthday invitation was awesome. I absolutely adored it, it was a perfect touch to pull this whole theme together without being too "Sesame Street".
The candy/ favor station. A cork board is covered by a lime cotton fabric. Push pins are used to hold the candy boxes. These boxes are decorated with Sesame Street stickers and coordinating ribbons. Flower vases for the bulk candy and a decorated frame with a 3D Big Bird to accent the table.
A delicious 3 tiered cake was served with more Sesame Street decor. Flavors for the day? Red Velvet and Chocolate. Yummy!
The birthday banner was made the old fashioned way. I used the circular vases to trace the card stock and cut it one by one. For the smaller circles, I used a DVD! Letters were premade/ cut, and they were velvety!
The final look of the birthday banner...totally made with lots of love.
